Accessories
You can order these optional extras for your Pioneer Water Tank if desired
Ventilation
Effective tank ventilation for optimal conditions inside your water storage tank
Anodes
Dual self-sacrificing anodes to prevent electrolysis (corrosion) within the tank body
Ventilation
Effective tank ventilation plays a critical role in maintaining optimal conditions inside your water storage tank.
Proper ventilation ensures a safe environment for routine maintenance checks and helps to mitigate issues such as airborne pollutants and excess condensation.
For the safety of all personnel involved, it is essential to adhere to confined space entry procedures when working within any water tank.
Side Wall Access Hatch
Our side wall access hatches serve as vital safety features, providing immediate access to the inside of the tank from ground level in case of emergencies.
These hatches are strategically positioned to ensure rapid response and secure entry when needed most.
Pipe Brackets
Our pipe brackets play a crucial role in stabilizing external piping systems, ensuring their reliability and longevity.
While we provide these brackets as part of our service, it's essential for clients to take responsibility for proper ground pipework support.
This collaboration ensures the integrity of your system and its consistent performance.
Fascia
Our roof fascia serves a dual purpose – it conceals the trimmed edge of the roof sheeting while enhancing the overall aesthetics of your tank.
Designed with ribbing that matches the wall panels, it adds aesthetic to your water storage units.
Level Indicators
Ensure you always know the precise amount of water in your tank with our user-friendly water level indicator, conveniently attached to the tank's exterior.
We offer two options for your preference: the traditional float and pulley system or a wireless alternative, available in various colours to complement your surroundings.
The marker effortlessly moves in sync with water levels, thanks to a counterweight mechanism.
For situations involving public access, we also provide a heavy-duty commercial-grade gauge to meet your specific needs
Anodes
Our anode protection system is designed for efficiency and durability.
The anode itself is crafted from robust magnesium alloy, ensuring long-lasting performance. The accompanying cable boasts a PVC insulation and sheath with a 6mm cross-sectional area for reliable conductivity. To secure it all, we utilize a sturdy calico bag.
For the backfill mixture, we adhere to Australian Standards (AS2239) and carefully blend the ingredients to guarantee effectiveness. Our precise proportions consist of Bentonite (50%), Gypsum (45%), and Sodium Sulphate (5%), ensuring optimal protection for your water tank
Geotextile
Our geotextile underlay is a game-changer for liner protection. Crafted from 100% polyester, this non-woven material boasts exceptional breaking strength, ensuring the longevity of your water tank liner.
Geotextile is the ideal solution when sourcing clean sand proves challenging, and you need to shield your liner base from potential threats like sharp stones or rocks. Its reliable protective properties make it a valuable addition to your water storage setup.
Superseal - Dust and Insect Protection
Dirt, dust, spiders, and pesky insects often seek refuge in your water tank.
Prevent unwanted guests and contaminants from entering your precious water source with Superseal, a closed-cell protective foam.
This innovative solution fills the gaps between your roof sheets and the tank wall, ensuring that your stored water remains pristine and free from external sources of contamination.
